ABOUT Gobi 65 RECIPE

As the name suggests, it is a unique twist to it's original counterpart, Chicken 65. Juicy and succulent cauliflower florets marinated with spices and deep fried and served hot as a side dish.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Cauliflower 1 medium.
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Red colour a pinch
  4. Chilli powder a tbsp
  5. Garlic mince a tsp (optional)
  6. turmeric a pinch
  7. Cornflour 2 tbsp
  8. All purpose flour a tbsp
  9. Soy sauce a tbsp
  10. Chilli garlic sauce a tbsp
  11. Coriander leaves or curry leaves a fistful
  12. Green chillies slit 4
  13. Oil a tbsp+ oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the cauliflower, separate the florets carefully and marinade with all the ingredients except the last two.
  2. Leave aside for 15 mins.
  3. Heat the oil and deep fry the florets
  4. In a separate pan, add a tbsp of oil, stir in the curry leaves and green chillies.
  5. Add the fried florets to this and serve hot.
