Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Mutton minced 300gms
  2. Chana dal 3/4cup
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 1tbsp
  4. Kashmiri red chili whole 4pieces
  5. Potato 1
  6. Zeera 1tsp
  7. Bay leaf(tej patta) 1
  8. Black pepper corns 4
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Onion 1 finely chopped
  12. Green chilies 3 or more as per your taste.
  13. Handful of coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean minced mutton properly.
  2. Wash and clean chana dal, soak it for 15 mins.
  3. Now take a pressure cooker, add minced mutton, soaked chana dal, Ginger garlic paste, peeled potato, jeera, kashmiri red chilli, tej patta, black pepper corns and salt. Mix well and add half glass of water to it. Close the lid and let it cook.
  4. Allow three whistles on high flame and let it simmer for 10 mins.
  5. Open the lid and dry excess water is any. Let it cool at room temperature. Remove bay leaves and grind in a mixer.
  6. Finely chop onion, green chillies and coriander leaves. Now add this to the ground kabab mixture.
  7. Heat oil in a pan, take a medium portion to make a ball , flatten it on your palm and make a round shaped kebab, if you want can put a little water on your palm.
  8. Shallow fry it by dribbling a little oil on the sides and cooking till golden on both sides.
  9. Serve with chutney.
