ABOUT Cauliflower Pepper Fry RECIPE

This is a dish that goes well with chapathi or as a side dish for rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Cauliflower 2 cups
  2. Capsicum 1 small,or 3/4 of a big one
  3. Onion 2,medium size
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger 1 small piece.
  7. Chilli powder 1/4tsp
  8. Garam masala one or 2 pinch.
  9. Pepper powder 1 tsp or less
  10. Turmeric a pinch.
  11. Salt,oil
  12. curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook cauliflower for 3 to 4 minutes, with salt.
  2. Slice onion,make big pieces of capsicum. In a pan, heat oil. put garlic paste, fry.
  3. Then add onion, green chillies, ginger & curry leaves. Fry well for 1-2 minutes. Onions should not turn brown. Then add capsicum , chilli powder, salt and garam masala. fry for another a few minutes .
  4. Then add cooked cauliflower and pepper powder .sprinkle some water, close lid and fry for another 3-4 min. Remove in a dry stage.
  5. You may garnish with fresh coriander
