Crispy and very tasty dosa. Great for lunch box. It has no Eno and no baking soda

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Dhuli moong dal (yellow) - 1 cup
  2. Rice flour -1 cup
  3. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak dhuli moong dal in water for 3 hrs. Drain it.
  2. Take dal in a grinder and add a little water. beat it to a smooth paste. Add rice flour little by little and water and beat it to a smooth paste without any lumps. The Consistency of the batter should be flowing
  3. Transfer it to a bowl. Cover it and keep aside for 4 hrs.
  4. After that add salt and mix it with a ladle.
  5. Heat a tawa on high flame. Lower the heat. Pour a ladleful of batter on tawa and spread it with ladle in circle. Drizzle a little oil on sides.
  6. Keep it on slow for few mins until top start to dry up. Turn the flame on high. When dosa becomes golden brown, flip and cook the other side also.
  7. Transfer dosa to a serving plate.
  8. Serve hot with sambhar, chutney or ketchup.
