Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Leftover rice 2 to 3 cups
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Chilli flakes a tbsp
  4. Garlic mince a tbsp
  5. Sambar masala 2 tbsp
  6. garam masala a tsp
  7. Bay leaves 2 to 3
  8. Coriander for garnishing a handful
  9. Green peas a cup boiled
  10. Caraway seeds a tsp
  11. Lemon juice a tbsp (optional) OR
  12. Dry mango powder a tsp
  13. Oil 3 tbsp
  14. Onion 1 large chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and saute the onions.
  2. Add the minced garlic and all the masalas.
  3. After a minute, add the green peas.
  4. Stir fry all of these for about 3 to 4 mins
  5. Mix this with the rice.
  6. Cover and leave it on low flame for 5 mins just to reheat the rice.
  7. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with any pickle or as it is. It tastes equally yum.
