Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Jaggery grated 1/2 cup
  3. Water to make batter
  4. Cardamom powder 2 pinch
  5. Baking soda 1 pinch
  6. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Make a fine batter of whole wheat flour ,jaggery , cardamom powder and water with a consistency like idli batter
  2. Cover it and keep for 10 minutes
  3. After 10 minutes heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying
  4. With the help of spoon drop lemon size batter balls in hot oil.
  5. Fry it till brown in colour
  6. Take out and drain it in paper
  7. Serve hot or cold.
