ABOUT Chane Ka Saag RECIPE

Made with chana bhaji chawal ka maadh and some spices. In M.P. it is called "Lapta"

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 kg chana bhaji
  2. 5-6 Garlic paste
  3. 6-7 Green chilly paste
  4. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  5. Salt as per your taste
  6. Oil 4-5 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Make a fine paste of chillies, garlic, ginger and 1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing).
  2. Steam the chane ka saag and make a fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add sesame seeds in it and let them crackled and add Hing.
  4. Now add grind paste Saute it till Raw smell goes out oil releases.
  5. Now add chana bhaji paste in it saute it for few minutes.
  6. Now add Turmeric and salt and saute it.
  7. After sauteing it add chawal maadh slowly slowly and mix it continuously
  8. Now allow it to boil. Lapta is ready you can have it with rice and chapati.
