ABOUT Schezwan Chilli Potato RECIPE

Chinese dishes are always incomplete without schezwan sauce. Fried potato tossed in olive oil, capsicum, beans, onions and schezwan sauce. Believe me it tastes delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For schezwan sauce:
  2. 4 Tomatoes
  3. 4 Garlic cloves
  4. Red chillies
  5. Chilli flakes
  6. Salt
  7. White vinegar
  8. Soya sauce
  9. 2 tablespoon Oil
  10. For Chilli Potato:
  11. 2 Potato
  12. 1 big Onion
  13. 1 Capsicum
  14. 4-5 Beans sticks
  15. Oil for frying and stir fry
  16. Salt
  17. Chilli powder
  18. Vinegar
  19. Soya sauce

Instructions

  1. Schezwan Sauce
  2. Boil the tomatoes in a pan. Peel them and grind them. Sieve the puree.
  3. Add 2 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic cloves in it. Keep stirring on low flame till they turn golden.
  4. Add tomato puree to it. Keep stirring for 5 minutes.
  5. Add salt and chili powder to it. Now add chopped red chilies to it.
  6. At last, add vinegar and soya sauce to it. Stir for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool.
  7. Now chop the potatoes. Deep fry them in oil.
  8. In a separate pan, add one tablespoon oil and the chopped onions. Keep stirring until they turn golden.
  9. Now add chopped beans and capsicum. Keep stirring it for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Now add salt, chilli powder and soya sauce, followed by vinegar.
  11. At last, add 4-5 tablespoon schezwan sauce to it. Keep stirring it for 3-4 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  12. Serve it with chilli vinegar, mustard sauce and schezwan sauce.
