Beetroot khichadi is a yogurt based curry mainly prepared for Kerala Sadya recipes.
I tried this a long time and ago, thanks for the recipe..
Grate the beetroot finely. Then mix the chopped onion and green chillies with the grated beetroot.
Heat a pan with oil, then add in the mustard seeds, wait for it to splutter then add in the curry leaves.
Now add the beetroot-onion mixture to the pan, it will take 5 to 7 mins to cook.
Take 250 ml curd in a bowl and mix the beetroot with this curd. It is ready to be served.
