ABOUT Instant Bread Paniyaram (Sweet) RECIPE

Have you ever wondered what to do with leftover breads? Here is an interesting and easy way to make a simple paniyaram instantly. Of course you can use the sides/crust of the bread left after preparing other dishes as well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread slices - 4
  2. Rava - 2 Tablespoons
  3. Sugar (Brown) - 2 Tablespoons
  4. Milk (Boiled) - 1 Cup
  5. Cardamom powder - A pinch
  6. Ghee / Oil - As Required

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread into small pieces.
  2. Take a bowl. Add in the bread pieces, rava, brown sugar and cardamom powder. Mix them well.
  3. Add milk to the mixture little by little and mix it well until the mixture reaches the consistency of the dough/batter suitable for making paniyaram.
  4. Heat up a paniyaram pan/kadai on a low flame and grease the pits/moulds with a little ghee or oil.
  5. Pour the dough/batter to the pits/moulds using small spoon. Ensure there is enough space to flip/turn the paniyaram while cooking. Do not over pour the dough and fill the pits completely.
  6. Cook the paniyaram 2-3 minutes on each side or until done. Flip/turn them carefully using small size spoon. If required add few drops of ghee/oil to the sides so they are cooked evenly and turn crispy.
  7. Serve them hot.

Can I use powdered bread??? Rava should b soaked over night ah
