Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pasta shells 2 cups
  2. Oil 1 tsp
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Red chilli flakes 1 tsp
  5. Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  6. Olive oil 1 tbsp
  7. Onion chopped 1/2 cup
  8. Green capsicum diced into small pieces 1/2 cup
  9. Tomato chopped 1 small
  10. Green chilli sauce 1-2 tsp
  11. Tomato Ketchup 1 tbsp
  12. Vinegar 1/2 tsp
  13. Oregano seasoning 1 tsp
  14. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  15. Cilantro or parsley for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pan and add oil and salt to it.
  2. Once the water comes to a boil, add in the pasta shells and boil them till they are half cooked. (It took approximately 7 mins for me.)
  3. Drain the hot water and transfer the pasta into cold water. Keep them in cold water for 5 mins to avoid over cooking. Next, drain the water from the pasta.
  4. In a wok, add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add in the garlic and crushed red chilli flakes. Saute for a minute.
  5. Now add in the onion and green capsicum. Keep the flame on high and saute the vegetables. Now add in the green chilli sauce and tomatoes.
  6. After a minute or two add in the tomato ketchup and vinegar. Mix well and cook it for a minute.
  7. Now add in the cooked pasta, black pepper and oregano. Roast the pasta shells for 2 - 3 minutes.
  8. Take it out on a serving platter and garnish it with green herbs to serve.
