ABOUT Chicken Mozzarella in Hot Garlic Sauce RECIPE

A spicy chicken minced ball dish stuffed with mozzarella cheese that is baked and then tossed in hot garlic sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken minced- 1 cup
  2. Grated mozzarella cheese- 1/2 cup
  3. Capsicum- 1 no
  4. Onion- 1 no
  5. Soya sauce- 20 ml
  6. Chilli paste -1 tablespoon
  7. Baking Powder- 1 teaspoon
  8. Vinegar- 1 tablespoon
  9. Chopped garlic- 1 tablespoon
  10. Sugar- a pinch
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Spring onion- 2 tablespoon
  13. Bread crumb- 1 cup
  14. Maida/Flour- 1/2 cup
  15. Cornflour- 3 tablespoon
  16. Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  17. White pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  18. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, take the minced chicken, add 1 teaspoon of soya sauce, black pepper, white pepper, salt and a little garlic in it. Mix it well together.
  2. Then apply a little water on your palms and make small balls of the minced chicken. Stuff a little grated mozzarella cheese in it and roll out the balls.
  3. In a bowl make a thick batter of the maida/ flour and cornflour in it by adding a little water and a pinch of baking powder in it. Dip these chicken balls in the batter, then coat these balls with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls until they are crisp and golden brown in colour.
  5. Meanwhile separately, take a pan and add oil to heat, then add in the chopped garlic. Saute it a little, then add in the diced onion and capsicum. Saute a little and add the chilli paste to it .
  6. Now add a little water to it. Then add in the black pepper, white pepper, salt, sugar, soya sauce and vinegar to it. Add a little cornflour mixed with water to thicken the sauce.
  7. Now add the fried chicken balls into it, toss it well so that the sauce coats the balls well.
  8. Lastly add the chopped spring onion and serve it hot.
