Sooji ka halwa is a staple in most indian families. We normally flavor it with kesar and elaichi. This time around I thought of using Rose. Its more refreshing and jaggery gives it that earthy flavor. Jaggery being a healthy alternative to sugar, makes this treat a real treat. I made my version with jaggery and no sugar. You can make as per your own tastes.
