  1. 4 sweet potatoes
  2. 2 tbsp maida
  3. 2 tbsp khua
  4. 1 teaspoon soda
  5. Elaichi powder
  6. Sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and boil the sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker. Do not over boil them. Once cooked, let them come to room temperature.
  2. Make a mixture by adding 2 tbsp maida, 2 tbsp khua, 1 teaspoon baking soda, small elaichi powder and mix it well together with the sweet potatoes.
  3. Now make small ball sizes from this mixture and fry them in hot oil.
  4. Then add cold sugar syrup and let all the jamun soak in it for 1-2 hours.
  5. Let this chill in the refrigerator and enjoy your cold golab jamun!
