Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaked chana dal 1/4 cup
  2. Rice flour 1&1/2 cup
  3. Oregano 1/2 table spoon
  4. Salt and red chilli powder as desired
  5. Green chilli 2 finely chopped
  6. Onion 1 medium finely chopped
  7. Turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Oil half cup
  9. coriander leaves 1 bunch

Instructions

  1. In a wide bowl, add all the ingredients except oil and water.
  2. Mix well and slowly add water and mix to make a smooth dough.
  3. Make into 2 lemon sized ball and keep it ready.
  4. Do not preheat the pan, after spreading you can light the stove.
  5. In a non stick pan, add 1 table spoon of oil and spread evenly.
  6. Then add the ball and spread evenly with your palms (as how you spread the dosa in that thickness it should be).
  7. Make pores with your fingers and add oil in the pores. Turn on the stove and top it with a lid and let it cook for few minutes till it gets crispy.
  8. Then after 5 mins, turn the rottey and let it cook on the other side but in this step you should not put the lid as rottey may observe moisture.
  9. Serve hot and this doesn't need anything to garnish or serve with. Directly you can have it.
