Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2-3 potatoes ( boiled and peeled )
  2. 1/2 cup grated paneer
  3. 1 tbsp samak atta
  4. 1 tsp roasted cumin pwder
  5. 1 tsp black pepper pwder
  6. Rock salt ( sendha namak ) to taste
  7. 1 tbsp tamarind chutney
  8. Peanut oil for shallow frying
  9. Pomegranate seeds for garnishing
  10. 1 1/2 cup curd

Instructions

  1. Mash the potato and add paneer, samak atta, salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder. Mix it thoroughly.
  2. Divide into the equal parts and shape into tikkis.
  3. Heat little oil in heavy bottom pan.
  4. Fry tikkis over medium flame, till crisp and brown on both sides.
  5. Whisk the curd till it is smooth.
  6. Place them in a serving plate. Pour whipped curd on the aloo tikkis.
  7. Top with tamarind chutney as required.
  8. Sprinkle salt, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
  9. Serve the yummy curd aloo tikki immediately.
