Pumpin flower petals dipped in spicy batter and deep fried.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pumpin flowers 2
  2. Besan 1/2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Chilly powder 1/2tsp
  5. Jeera powder 1/2tsp
  6. Haldi 1/4tsp
  7. Sonth powder a pinch
  8. Chat Masala or kalanamak
  9. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the pumpin flowers and take out the petals.
  2. Add all the spices and salt to the besan and mix well.
  3. Now add little water to get a batter of dosa consistency.
  4. Heat the oil in a kadai and dip the petals one at a time then deep fry.
  5. Serve with a pinch of chat masala or kalanamak.
