Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Arhar dal 1 cup
  2. Water as required
  3. Salt as required
  4. Haldi powder a pinch
  5. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  6. Lal mirch powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Garam masala a pinch
  8. Tomatoes 2 small
  9. Onion 1 small
  10. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  11. Hing a pinch
  12. Ghee 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash Arhar dal and put in pressure cooker. Add water, salt and haldi powder. Let it whistle once. Dal is boiled.
  2. Take a kadhai and add ghee, jeera and hing.
  3. Add in chopped onions and saute well.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and other dry ingredients.
  5. Add in boiled dal and let it cook for one boil.
  6. Dal is ready. Serve hot.
