Small prawns called kardi in masala

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Kardi (small prawns) 250 gms
  2. Tomato 1
  3. Kokum 5 to 6
  4. Curry leaves few
  5. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  6. Oil as required
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Corriander powder 1 1/2 tsp
  9. Jeera powder 1 1/2 tsp
  10. Haldi 1/2 tsp
  11. Red chilli powder 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan, add chopped garlic, tomatoes, curry leaves, saute for a bit. Add kokum, all powdered masala and saute, then finally add the kardi (baby prawns).
  2. Cook prawns till oil separates garnish with coriander leaves.
  3. Serve hot with roti.
