Appam with flavour of egg
Soak raw rice and idli rice for 4 hours .soak fenugreek separately for 4 hours. Soak urab dal as same idli rice and fenugreek .soak poha for 5 minutes..drain the water and grind the dal fenugreek poha and keep it them aside . Then grind the rice into smooth batter.
Add the urad dal batter to the rice batter and mix them well and allow them to ferment for 5-6 hours.
It rises well and the batter is ready for making appam
Take appam batter into a bowl and add salt . Mix well.
Heat appam pan on low heat pour a ladle of batter in the center . Swirl the pan in circular direction to make a lace.cover and let it cook in low heat for few seconds . Crack an agg in the center of the appam.
Season the egg with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for a minute in low heat.
The whites should be cooked but the yolk should still be runny.
