Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gavar - 250 - gm
  2. Mustard oil - 2 - tbs
  3. Garlic cloves - medium and chopped - 8/10 - cloves
  4. Green Chillies- chopped - 4/5 - pieces
  5. Red dry chillies - 2 - whole
  6. Salt - 1 - to taste
  7. Jeera - for tadka - 1 - teaspoon
  8. Haldi - for tadka - 1/2 - teaspoon
  9. Hing - for tadka - 1 - pinch

Instructions

  1. Heat oil properly and then add Jeera, garlic and red chillies
  2. Fry till garlic is light pink, do not make it golden
  3. Add hing, green chillies and haldi
  4. Mix well and immediately add gawar
  5. On full flame stir gawar
  6. Add water (1 chai glass) and salt then mix and let it boil once
  7. Once boiled, sim flame, cover the kadai and leave for 5 mins
  8. After 5 mins see sabzi kitni gali hai and if water is there
  9. Gal gayi - then burn water on medium flame by stiring it
  10. Nai gali - then cover again for few minutes
