ABOUT Jhatpat fish tikka RECIPE

Fish fillet coated in spices and pan fried.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fish fillet- 200 gms
  2. Green chilli paste - 2 tsp
  3. Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder - 1 & 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  6. Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped mint leaves - 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Curd - 2 tbsp
  11. Rice flour - 1 & 1/2 tbsp
  12. Oil - 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish fillet very well and cut into small pieces.
  2. Take a deep bowl and prepare the marinade. Firstly take all the dry spices then the paste.
  3. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  4. Now add curd, rice flour and salt. Give this a nice mix.
  5. Into the marinade add the fish pieces and coat them very well using your hands. Once done keep aside for 10 minutes.
  6. Take a non stick pan heat the oil on medium flame, once it's hot the fish pieces .
  7. Cook them on low flame till they turn golden brown on both sides.
  8. Hot jhatpat fish tikkas are ready to be served. Squeeze some lemon juice on top and enjoy.
