Slces of brinjals are coated with besan and spices and deep fried.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Brinjals 2medium size
  2. Besan 1.5cups.
  3. Red chilli powder 1table spoon.
  4. Turmeric powder 1tea spoon.
  5. Coriander powder 1tea spoon.
  6. Black pepper powder 1tea spoon.
  7. Salt as per taste.
  8. Oil 1tea spoon (for batter).
  9. Soda bicarb 1/4tea spoon.
  10. Oil for deep frying.

Instructions

  1. Make slices of brinjals,of a thickness of 1cm.Put in water and leave for 5minutes.
  2. Make a batter of besan ,adding all the ingredients.Blend well and leave for 10minutes.
  3. Heat oil,remove brinjals from water.Coat withbesan and deep fry on medium flame till golden.
  4. Serve with sauces/chutneys of your choice.
