ABOUT Dryfruits Malai kulfi from homemade Premix RECIPE

Kulfi is a popular frozen dairydessert originating from the north India during Mughal India. It is often described as "traditional Indian ice cream. Traditionally milk is boiled with khoya and dryfruits. I made this kulfi premix at home to make get same taste with less time.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For Malai kulfi premix
  2. Milk powder 200 gm
  3. Sugar 80 gm
  4. Cornflour 2 tbs
  5. Citric acid 1 pinch
  6. For Kulfi
  7. Milk 1 liter
  8. Dryfruits Almond and pistachio 1 tbs
  9. Kesar 1 pinch
  10. For kulfi faluda
  11. Faluda sev
  12. Chia seeds
  13. Dryfruits
  14. Rose or kesar syrup
  15. Dry rose patels

Instructions

  1. Melt the sugar in nonstick pan and set this caramelized sugar syrup in a greased pan cool down.
  2. Break this caramelized sugar and grind in mixture grinder and make powder.
  3. Add milk powder, cornflour and citric acid and again grind for 2 minutes.
  4. Kulfi premix is ready store in airtight container.
  5. To make kulfi. Boil 1 litre of milk in thick non-stick pan get one boil in the milk
  6. Add 250 gm of kulfi premix powder in the boiling milk add kaser and dryfruits. Boil for 5 min. Stir continuously.
  7. Cool the kulfi milk to room temprature. Story in airtight container on kulfi mould or in clay pot.
  8. Refrigerate for 5 to 6 hours. Serve cool cool malai kulfi or make kulfi faluda.
  9. To make kulfi faluda take kulfi in a serving bowl add faluda sev, chia seeds, some melted kulfi as rabadi dryfruits, Kesar or rose syrup and trutifrity. Serve chilled...
