Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 25 oreos
  2. 100 gms butter (at room temperature)
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 90 gms/ 6 tbsp butter
  5. 100 ml cream (I used Amul)
  6. 1/4 tsp salt
  7. 150 gms chocolate

Instructions

  1. Blend the oreos in a blender. Add butter and mix it properly.
  2. Line a 6" Pie mould with this mixture and press it tightly. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat sugar in a thick bottomed pan and keep on stirring so that it doesn't burn.
  4. When it's completely melted and golden brown in color, lower the heat and add the butter. Give it a nice swirl with a spatula till it mixes properly. Pour in the cream and give it a nice whisk.
  5. Add 1/4 tsp salt and mix. Then let it cool down and spread it over the cold chocolate mix. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
  6. Heat water in a saucepan and melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Heat cream on a low flame but don't let it boil.
  7. Pour it over the chocolate and mix it thoroughly. Then pour it over the caramel and refrigerate it till it's set.
  8. Remove from the pie mould and serve it.
