Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For nachos pakwan-
  2. Half cup refined flour
  3. Half cup moong dal powder
  4. Half cup semolina
  5. One teaspoon turmeric powder
  6. Salt according to taste
  7. One teaspoon ajwain crushed
  8. One big spoonful oil
  9. Oil for frying
  10. For Dal-
  11. Half cup moong dal(yellow)
  12. 2 tbsp chana dal soaked
  13. Salt according to taste
  14. One teaspoon clarified butter
  15. One teaspoon turmeric powder
  16. 1 small onion chopped
  17. Green chilli chopped according to taste
  18. Garam masala powder half teaspoon
  19. For Dal tadka-
  20. One teaspoon cumeen seeds
  21. Half teaspoon asafoetida
  22. 2 tbsp clarified butter

Instructions

  1. Fast in a big bowl take suji, moong dal powder, maida, salt, one teaspoon turmeric powder and ajwain.
  2. Now mix oil in this with using your hand.
  3. Kneed this with warm water.
  4. Kneed a tight dough.
  5. Cover it with a wet kitchen towel.
  6. Now in a cooker add washed mung dal and chana dal.
  7. Mix haldi powder, one teaspoon clarified butter and salt in dal cooker.
  8. Cook it till two whistle.
  9. For tadka heat a tadka pan.
  10. Take oil,splutter jeera and hing.
  11. Mix this in Dal, and cover the cooker immediately for a lovely aroma.
  12. Kneed the dough again.
  13. Roll it like a chapati.
  14. Cut it with knife like nachos shapes.
  15. Prick it with fork.
  16. Heat oil in a kadai.
  17. On medium heat fry all the nachos.
  18. Before serving take some Dal in bowl and put some chopped onion and green chilli over it.
  19. Drizzle some garam masala over the dal.
  20. Served with nachos.
