Fried vadas with daal
Soak urad daal for 2_3hrs
Grind it to paste
Add baking soda mix well and keep aside for an hour.
Add salt zeera and rice flour again mix it.
Heat oil in kadai and deep fry the mendu vadas till golden brown.
For sambhar: boil tuvar daal with haldi and salt.
For tempering:heat oil in pan splutter some rai, methi dana it then add Kari patta and whole red chilli and Hing mix it then add chopped onions and saute till pink.
Now add chopped tomatoes salt red chilli powder and cook till tomatoes are cooked
Then add imli pulp dhania powder and mix
Add sambhar masala powder cook till oil seperates add this masala to daal mix it
Add water to daal and mix well it should be thin in consistency
At last add jaggery for sweetness
Garnish with green coriander
