I m making this paratha healthy for kids usually all made it with all purpose flour but i m making it with whole wheat flour, and i m not frying this paratha

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For veggie masala - oil 1 table spoon
  2. Cummin seeds 1 tea spoon
  3. Onion 1 finely chopped
  4. Ginger and garlic 1 - 1 tea spoon
  5. Cauliflower 1 cup finely chopped
  6. Cabbage 1 cup finely chopped
  7. Carrot half cup grated
  8. Capsicum half cup finely chopped
  9. Potatoes 3 boiled and mashed
  10. Paneer 100 gram
  11. Salt to taste ( sea salt and black salt )
  12. Cummin powder 1 tea spoon
  13. Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
  14. Dry mango powder 1 tea spoon
  15. For dough - 3 cup whole wheat flour
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Oil 1 table spoon + for shallow fry
  18. Water as required
  19. Coriander ( optional )

Instructions

  1. In a wok add oil and Cummin seeds
  2. Add onion, ginger and garlic
  3. Add cauliflower and cabbage
  4. Add carrot and capsicum
  5. Add salt , black salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder
  6. Add potatoes and mix well
  7. Add paneer and mix well and keep aside
  8. Take a bowl put whole wheat flour and add salt to taste , oil and knead with water and again grease with oil
  9. Now make a ball from dough and roll out a chapati
  10. Add veggie masala on top
  11. Fold
  12. And shallow fry both sides on hot griddle
  13. Garnish with coriander and tomato sauce Serve hot
