Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. FOR KADI....
  2. oil 4 tbsp
  3. besan 4 tablespoon
  4. think one fourth teaspoon
  5. jeera 1 teaspoon
  6. Methi seeds one teaspoon
  7. 2 drumsticks
  8. 8 ladies finger(bhindi)
  9. Few peas
  10. one potato chopped into chunks
  11. 3 to4 green chillies slit
  12. 1 tomato chopped into chunks
  13. one small brinjal chopped
  14. Few florets of cauliflower
  15. salt to taste
  16. 8 pieces of cluster beans
  17. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  18. FOR HOMEMADE MAWA GULAB JAMUN
  19. 100 grams of mawa
  20. 1 tablespoon of maida
  21. 1/4 teaspoon of soda bicarb
  22. Pinch of ellachi powder
  23. 10 strands of Kesar
  24. 2 cups of sugar
  25. 2 cups of water
  26. FOR GOBHI AALU
  27. half kg cauliflower
  28. two potatoes
  29. two tomatoes finely chopped
  30. 4 to 5 green chillies
  31. salt to taste
  32. jeera 1 teaspoon
  33. oil to Deep fry
  34. turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  35. red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  36. 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  37. garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  38. coriander leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. For kadi...
  2. heat oil in heavy bottomed pan
  3. add jeera and Methi seeds
  4. add besan and start cooking on medium flame
  5. Cook tilll Aroma is spread all over and the besan has become golden brown
  6. Now add 2 glasses of hot water
  7. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric pwd and mix.
  8. Let it boil then add all veggies one by one.( harder ones like potatoes ,cauliflower,drumsticks first then after 10 mins add softer ones like brinjal,tomatoes, lady fingers.)
  9. Let all the veggies cook .
  10. At this stage add half glass more water and 4 tbsp imli pulp.
  11. Give tadka of zeera and red chilli powder.
  12. Ur SINDHI curry is ready to serve with hot steamed ghee rice.
  13. FOR HOMEMADE GULAB JAMUNS
  14. Mash mawa with the palms of ur hand till u will soft consistency and little ghee like substance feels on ur hands.
  15. Now add Maida and soda no carb and make small balls of it.
  16. There shouldn't be any cracks.
  17. Next prepare sugar syrup of one thread by mixing sugar,water,cardamom pwd,kesar strands.
  18. deep fry balls on low flame till light brown
  19. Soak this balls in warm sugar syrup for 2 hours
  20. And serve these soft baby gulab JAMUNS.
  21. FOR GOBHI AALU
  22. Cut gobhi and aalu
  23. Deep fry them in hot oil till golden with some salt.
  24. Add slit green chillies
  25. Now in another kadai add 2 tbsp oil.
  26. Add tomatoes and cook them till soft and mushy
  27. Once tomatoes are cooked add fried gobhi and aalu.
  28. Add in haldi,dhaniya,mirchi pwd,and cook on high flame.
  29. Then at the end add some garam masala and coriander leaves.
