Mushroom matar masala is also a comfort food which can be prepared within few minutes. In mushroom as there is no peeling of veggies required, so it can be prepared easily.
First of all prepare the masala paste by grinding all the ingredients with a little water.
Chop the mushrooms.
Heat a pan and put oil in it. Then add the sugar in it and when it gets caramelize then add the cumin seeds and bay leaf and saute it for few seconds and then add chopped onions in it .
When it becomes translucent then add the masala paste along with turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt ,thanks powder in it and then add the chopped tomato in it.
Saute it for few minutes and then add the green peas and chopped mushrooms in it and cover it for 7-8 minutes.
Add the chopped coriander leaves in it and now the mushroom matar masala is now ready to serve.
Serve hot with phulkes.
