From some months I am missing my Mom a lot. She was making Shepu with daal very nice. So I am Presenting Shepu my mom's favourite in different form.
yUMMY TO THE CORE
Soak Sooji in 1 bowl water for 1 hour
Soak Poha ( rice flakes) and methi seeds together in 1 bowl. water for 1 hour.
After an hour grind Poha, Methi seeds, ginger, garlic, chilli.
Add dil leaves and blend with them.
Mix with Sooji.
Boil grated Jaggery in little water till melt.
Add to the mixture. Add Salt, Pepper and Zeera.
Your batter is ready. Add chopped Coriander leaves and mix nicely.
Heat 1 tbsp oil , add Asafetida, mustard seeds and Urad daal.
After it splitter add to the batter.
Heat a non stick griddle. Spread 1 tsp oil.
Spread a laddle full of batter.
Cover it . Cook on medium heat.
Turn as one side is done.
Serve with Coriander mint chutney
