Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For toor daal Sambar
  2. 1 cup toor daal
  3. 1/2 cup moong daal
  4. 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  5. 1 tomato, 1 tsp of oil
  6. Pinch of turmeric and salt
  7. For seasoning
  8. 2 tbsp of oil
  9. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  10. Few Curry leaves
  11. 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  12. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  13. 1 tbsp sambar powder
  14. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. 1 tsp garam masala
  17. 2 tbsp chilli powder adjust your spicy
  18. Salt to taste, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  19. Pinch of hing
  20. For garnished chopped coriander leaves
  21. For jowar roti
  22. Jowar flour
  23. Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Firstly take the deep pan add daals, 1 tsp of methi seeds, pinch of turmeric powder, pinch of salt, 1 red ripped Tomato and 1 tsp oil after adding needed water to boil this till smooth or cook in pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
  2. After mash it well .for seasoning heat the oil add all seasoning ingredients one by one. Except spice's Mix well. Then pour on the boiled daal mixture.
  3. Further add spices next give a good mix and put on the gas boil it few minutes.lastly add chopped coriander leaves. Now sambar is ready.
  4. For jowari roti, take the 2 cup flour in mixing bowl add 1 cup of warm water mix well with the help of spoon,
  5. if you want water add more and knead the smooth dough.
  6. Take small size of dough make the ball and gently press with palm then tap on the base you used.
  7. Next heat the tawa and put roti apply little water on the one side of roti. Further roast well both sides
  8. Finally jowar roti is ready . Eat with curd, salad, sambar, Palya and your wish.
  9. Serve sambar with idli,dosa,chapati, rice, roti. This is tasty and super flavour
