It is a traditional Kashmiri tea flavoured with aromatic spices with almonds.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Full cream milk 2 cups.
  2. Water 2cups .
  3. Iced water 2cups.
  4. Star anis 1no.
  5. Cinnamon stick 1"piece.
  6. Green cardemom 4nos.
  7. Cloves 6 nos.
  8. Kashmiri tea/green tea 1table spoon.
  9. Salt 1/4tea spoon.
  10. Soda bicarb 1/2tea spoon.
  11. Sugar as per taste.
  12. Almond flakes 1tea spoon.

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a sauce pan .Add kashmiri tea, star anis,cinnamon stick,cardemom and cloves.Boil on medium heat till water reduced to half.
  2. Add salt and soda bi carb.Mix well and add iced water.Stir contineously.
  3. After 5_6 minutes,liqour will atain alovely golden pink colour.
  4. Strain this liqour and preserve.
  5. Now boil milk for 5_6 minutes to reduce 20 percent ,add 1/2cup strained liqour(its called kahwa) to the milk .Add 2tea spoon sugar or accordind to your taste.
  6. Mix well ,this will give you 2cups of tea.
  7. Serve in two cups ,garnish with almond flakes.
  8. Enjoy.
