Often, dishes with sesame seeds, are prepared during winters. Ladoo prepared with sesame seeds and wheat flour taste scrumptious.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1cup sesame seeds
  2. 1cup Wheat flour
  3. 1cup powdered sugar or khand
  4. 1/2cup desi ghee
  5. 1/2tea spoon cardamom powder
  6. 1/4cup roasted and chopped dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Preheat a wok with heavy base and dry roast the sesame seeds untill there is slightly chsnge in colour and they turn puffy. Take out sesame seeds in a plate.
  2. Add ghee in pan add 2-3tsp ghee. Allow the ghee to melt. Now add wheat flour and stir constantly on medium to low flame until it gets little brown in colour and you get good aroma.
  3. Take out roasted wheat flour in a big bowl. Keep 1/4 sesame seeds aside for later use and coarsely grind the rest. Mix the grounded sesame seeds as well as whole sesame seeds in the flour. Also add chopped dry fruits like, cashews, almonds pistachios. Now addPowdered sugar or khand and cardmom powder into it.
  4. Mix all ingredients really well. Mix rest of the ghee as well.
  5. Take little amount of mixture and with help of both hands, roll giving it a round shape. Place the ladoo in a plate and likewise prepare all ladoos.
