ABOUT Instant Dosa with Coconut Chutney RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Moong dal 1 cup
  3. urad dal 1 cup
  4. Chana dal 3/4th cup
  5. Green chillies
  6. Mint leaves or pudina handful
  7. Coriander leaves handful
  8. Salt
  9. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil for shallow frying
  11. For Chutney:
  12. Coconut 1 cup
  13. Roasted chana dal 1/2 cup
  14. Coriander leaves handful
  15. Salt
  16. Green chillies 2
  17. curry leaves
  18. Mustard 1 tsp
  19. Oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1. Firstly soak rice and dals together for about 40 to 45 mins. Then make it into fine paste in mixer.
  2. 2. Make a paste of Green chillies, pudina and coriander leaves together and add it to rice and dal paste.
  3. 3. Add salt to your taste and soda. Mix it with hand thoroughly. Cover it and keep it for 10 min.
  4. 4. Meanwhile make chutney. Add coconut pieces, roasted chana dal, green chillies and coriander leaves in mixer jar and form a fine paste.
  5. 5. Take 1 tbsp oil in sauce pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves let it splatter, now add coconut paste salt and water . let it cook. Adjust consistency of chutney.
  6. 6. Take dosa tawa apply oil or butter let it heat up. Pour ladle of batter and spread it nicely with round big spoon and let it cook, drizzle oil over it . when it gets golden remove from tawa to serving dish. Serve hot and Enjoy it with chutney.
