Palak is very healthy to our eyes and health ... I made koftas with peas . I have nt fry these koftas . Totally healthy winter special recipe .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For palak puree --
  2. Palak(spinach) - 1 bunch
  3. Onion- 3
  4. Green chilly - 3
  5. Ginger Grated - 1 tspn
  6. Garlic cloves - 8-9
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Ghee - 2 tbsp
  9. Lemon juice - 2 tspn
  10. Hing - 2 pinch
  11. Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
  12. Coriander powder - 1 tspn
  13. For Koftas ---
  14. Boiled potatoes - 4 mashed
  15. Peas - 1/2 cup blanched
  16. Gram flour - 1 tbspn
  17. Paneer - 2 tspn grated
  18. Black pepper to taste
  19. Salt to taste
  20. Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
  21. Oil - 1 tspn
  22. Roasted Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
  23. Garam masala - 1 tspn
  24. Red chilly powder to taste
  25. Corn flour - 2 tspn

Instructions

  1. Boil sm water nd put chopped washed palak (spinach) nd cook for 5 minutes. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Now remove hot water nd put cold water on it . To do this will retain it's green colour. Blend it to a fine puree nd keep aside .
  3. For koftas--
  4. Take mashed potatoes add salt , black pepper, roasted cumin,1/2 tspn garam masala and coriander leaves nd mix well.
  5. Kofta Stuffing -- Take blanched peas and coarsly grind .
  6. Heat oil into a pan and put coarsly grinded peas nd roast it. Add salt, red chilly pow, garam masala and gram flour . Roast all nicely.
  7. Add grated paneer . Keep aside and let it cool.
  8. Make a small balls of potatoes mixture nd press within palms, then place peas mixture in center and roll out nd make a smooth ball.
  9. Now make corn flour paste and dip koftas one by one in it and cook from both sides into appa pan .
  10. Spinach gravy --- Make a fine paste of onion, green chilly, nd garlic cloves.
  11. Heat oil into a pan and add cumin and hing. Then add onion chilly paste and cook on low flame untill it leaves the oil.
  12. Add black pepper, salt, garam masala in it .then add spinach paste nd cook for 10 minutes. Now add coriander powder. Cook according to ur thickness .
  13. At last add lemon juice nd mix well. Palak (spinach) gravy is ready . Serve with pea stuff Koftas .
