Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 7-8 medium size boiled potatoes
  2. 2 cups boiled green peas
  3. 1/2 teaspoon black cardamom powder
  4. 1:2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon amchur powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2 chopped green chilli
  8. 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  9. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  10. Oil 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes.
  2. Add red chilli powder and salt and keep aside.
  3. Boil the green peas .
  4. In a pan add a teaspoon of oil, add the green peas, black cardamom powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder and salt and mix well. Keep on stirring on low flame till the green peas are dry enough for the filling.
  5. Divide the potatoes into 16 equal portions.
  6. Flatten one portion of the potato, place a big spoonful of the the green peas on the potato, and take another portion of potato and cover from top. Now Flatten them a little and cover the sides and give a nice round tilki shape .
  7. Shallow fry them , crispy golden brown colour from both sides.
  8. Serve with green chutney.
