Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 Onions chopped
  2. 1 Tomato chopped
  3. 2 tbsp Raw Groundnuts / peanuts
  4. 2 Green Chillies
  5. 4 tbsp Oil
  6. Tamarind
  7. 5 to 6 Methi /Fenugreek seeds
  8. 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  10. pinch of Hing
  11. 2 to 3 dried Red Chillies
  12. 6 to 7 Curry Leaves
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Jaggery

Instructions

  1. Heat kadai add Oil.
  2. Add Methi seeds,Mustard and Cumin.
  3. Add peanuts,roast well.
  4. Add green chillies,red chillies.fry it well.
  5. Add chopped Onion.saute it till it becomes translucent.
  6. Add chopped Tomato.cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  7. Now add tamarind and cook well.
  8. Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down.
  9. Take cool mixture in a mixer jar ,add salt and jaggery to it.
  10. Grind to smooth chutney.
  11. Temper chutney by heating oil,Hing,Mustard,Cumin,Curry leaves and Dry Red chillies
