Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Ingredients for idli/dosa:
  2. 3 cup Rice
  3. 1 cup white Urad dal
  4. Ingredients for sambhar:
  5. 1/2 cup Toor dal
  6. 1/2 cup each eggplant,drumstick, pumpkin and carrot
  7. 1 cup chopped Lauki
  8. 3-4 Tomatoes
  9. 2-3 Green chilli
  10. 2-3 spoon Everest sambhar masala
  11. Salt
  12. Chutney
  13. 1/2 cup fresh Coconut grated
  14. 2-3 big spoon thick curd
  15. 2 spoon roasted channa flour or satu
  16. 10-12 curry leaves
  17. 2-3 green chilli
  18. Salt
  19. Ingredients for tempering:
  20. 3-4 whole red chilli
  21. 2 spoon mustard seeds
  22. 12-15 curry leaves
  23. oil

Instructions

  1. Method for idli/dosa:
  2. Wash and soak the dal and rice overnight or for 5-6 hours
  3. Grind it to semi thick fine paste and let it fermente for 4-5 hours
  4. Pour into idli plate and steam it.For dosa spread a ladle of the batter in a pan, spread and cook on both sides.
  5. Fold it and serve it hot with sambhar and chutney
  6. Method of sambhar:
  7. Pressure cook veggies with dal.add spice powder, allow to boil and temper it.
  8. Method of chutney:
  9. Take all the ingredients together and grind it to a fine paste.Temper it.
