Egg stuffed paratha is a delicacy from North India.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. FOR PARATHA:
  2. Wheat flour 2 cups.
  3. Salt 1 teaspoon.
  4. Sugar 2 teaspoons.
  5. Egg 1 no.
  6. Ghee 1 tablespoon.
  7. Ghee 2 tablespoon for frying parantha.
  8. FOR FILLING PARANTHA:
  9. Eggs 2 nos.
  10. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tablespoon.
  11. Chopped green chillies 1 tablespoon.
  12. Chopped onion 1 tablespoon.
  13. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon.
  14. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon.
  15. Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon.
  16. Salt 1/2 teaspoon.
  17. Grated mozarella cheese 1 cup.

Instructions

  1. Make dough of wheat flour by mixing flour,salt,sugar,ghee and egg.
  2. Add required water to make soft dough. Cover dough and keep aside for 10 mins.
  3. In another bowl take 2 eggs,add all the ingridients except cheese. Mix and keep aside.
  4. Make 6 equal sized bowl of prepared dough.
  5. Roll a bread,apply some ghee on it and fold and make a paratha.
  6. Heat a tawa,keep flame low.
  7. Put paratha on it. Pour a laddle full of egg mixture on it.
  8. Put 1 tablespoon grated cheese on paratha.
  9. Fold the edges of paratha to give it a shape of an envelope(lifafa).
  10. Pour 1 tablespoon ghee on side of paratha and cook on low flamrle till golden brown.
  11. Serve hot.
