Ingredients: 2 cup Poha; 2 spoon oil; 1 choped onion; 2-3 choped green chillies; 1 chopped potato; 1/2 cup peas; 8-10 curri leaves; 1 tsp Mustard seed; 1/2 tsp cumin seeds; 1/2 tsp fennel seeds; 1/4 tsp turmeric powder; Salt as per tast; Red chilli powder as per tast; Corriender; Lemon juice; For usal; 1 cup sprout moth or Moong; 3 tsp oil; 1 small onion; 1 tsp Ginger garlic pest; 2 tsp red chilli powder; 1/2 tsp garam masala; Pinch of Asafetida

ABOUT Usal poha RECIPE

Poha is very famous breakfast from middle of India. It's very light and quick ready breakfast and when it comes with usal it become more healthy and testy

Ingredients Serving: 2

2 cup Poha
2 spoon oil
1 choped onion
2-3 choped green chillies
1 chopped potato
1/2 cup peas
8-10 curri leaves
1 tsp Mustard seed
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per tast
Red chilli powder as per tast
Corriender
Lemon juice
For usal
1 cup sprout moth or Moong
3 tsp oil
1 small onion
1 tsp Ginger garlic pest
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Pinch of Asafetida

Instructions

Wash poha and let it rest for 10 min.
Now add turmeric, salt, sugar, and lemon juice. Mix it well and keep ready
In a kadai heat oil, add mustard seed, cummin and fennel seeds and hing
Once mustard seeds are splattered add potatoes and let it cook
Add onion, peas or peanut seeds, green chillies curry leaves. Let it cook till onion become transparent
Now add poha, cook it with cover for 5-8 min. Poha ready
For usal heat kadai add oil, add onion, garlic and ginger pest
Once onion are cooked and light golden brown, add all spices and mix well,add tomatoes and let it cook until tomatoes get tender
Add boiled sprouted moth or moong cook for 5-6 min
Serve poha with ready usal garnish with corriender, namkin sev, row onion serve imidiatly
