Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina 11/2 cup
  2. Gramflour 1 1/2 tbsp
  3. Buttermilk 1-2 cups
  4. Lemon 1
  5. Sugar 1 tsp
  6. Curry leaves a handful
  7. Coriander leaves a handful
  8. Green chilli 4-5
  9. Oil 1 tbsp
  10. Musturd seeds 11/2 tsp
  11. Water 2 tsp
  12. Eno 1 packet

Instructions

  1. Make a batter of semolina, gramflour in buttermilk keep it overnight
  2. Add salt in it
  3. Place a tawa on gas
  4. Grease a pan with little oil
  5. Add Eno in the mixture
  6. Transfer the content in the pan
  7. Cover the pan
  8. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes
  9. For tempering heat oil in a pan
  10. Add musturd seeds ,curry leaves,green chilli
  11. Let it crackle add sugar red chilli powder and lemon juice
  12. Add little water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes
  13. When cake is ready let it cool for sometime
  14. Pour the tempering over it
  15. Add chopped coriander leaves over it
  16. Enjoy delicious savory cake over tawa
