Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil 2 tbsp
  2. Jeera 1 tsp
  3. Hing a pinch
  4. Hari mirch 2
  5. Tomato 3 large
  6. Onions 3 large
  7. Garlic 5-7 buds
  8. Haldi powder 1 tsp
  9. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  10. Jeera powder 1 tsp
  11. Garam masala 1 tsp
  12. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the Turai and cut into pieces.
  2. In a chopper add tomatoes, onions, garlic, hari mirch and blend well.
  3. Take a wok, add oil. When it is slightly heated, add jeera and hing. Add hari mirch and let it splutter.
  4. Add tomato mixture from the chopper. Saute well and add all the dry masala. Add Turai and mix well.
  5. Close with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  6. Serve hot with chapati.
