Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gramflour- 3/4cup
  2. Sooji-1/3cup
  3. Curd- 1/2cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water as needed
  6. Oil-1tsp
  7. Sugar-1/2tsp
  8. Lemon juice-1tsp
  9. Beetroot puree-1/2cup
  10. Eno,fruit salt -1tbsp
  11. For chaat:-
  12. Curd -1/2cup
  13. Sugar-2tbsp
  14. Green chutney-2tbsp
  15. Imli sweet chutney-2tbsp
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Roasted jeera powder-1 tbsp
  18. Sev -1tbsp
  19. Fresh Grated coconut-2tbsp
  20. Coriander leaves for decoration

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add all ingredients of dhokla except eno and mix well
  2. Add sufficient water and rest for 10 min.
  3. After 10min. mix fruit salt in batter mix nicely.
  4. Pour batter in another greased micro safe glass bowl
  5. Cook beet dhokla for 4min. in microwave
  6. After 4min. Check with toothpick if done than remove it
  7. If not done than cook 1 min. More
  8. Now wait and cool the dhokla
  9. Take a bowl add curd ,sugar and mix
  10. Now cut the rounds of dhokla with any round cutter
  11. Arrange round beet dhokla in plate
  12. Pour sweet curd,green chutney,imli chutney
  13. Sprinkle Salt ,pepper roasted jeera powder
  14. Decorate with coriander leaves, coconut,or grated beet and sev
