ABOUT Chicken pad thai noodles RECIPE

Pad thai noodle is a street food of Thailand which is easily cooked at home

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Flat rice noodles 1/2 packet
  2. Chicken boneless 100 gms cut into thin strips
  3. Capsicum 1 cut into thin strips
  4. Çarrot 1 cut into thin strips
  5. Spring onions 2 thinly cut
  6. Bean sprouts 1cup
  7. For sauce........
  8. Tamarind paste 2 tblsp
  9. Fish sauce 2tbsp
  10. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  11. Çhilli sauce (red)2 tsp
  12. Palm sugar/brown sugar 2-3 tbsp
  13. Ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. -Soak noodles in a lukewarm water for 10-15min and drain
  2. In a wok or kadai heat about 2-3tbsp oil (I used olive oil)
  3. Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 min
  4. Add chicken strips and all the vegetables and stir fry for 5-6 min (keep little spring onions for garnish)
  5. Mix all the sauce ingredients in bowl
  6. Add to the sauteed vegetables
  7. Add little water and cook for 5 min with the lid on
  8. Add the noodles and cook for another 5 min till done
  9. Garnish with spring onions
  10. Serve hot
