Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Ghee one tablespoon
  3. Salt Pinch
  4. Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons
  5. Sugar powder 1/4 cup
  6. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  7. Ghee one tablespoon
  8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add flour, salt, and mix well
  2. to make smooth yet firm dough poori dough
  3. cover the dough and keep aside for half an hour
  4. In a small bowl mix rice flour with melted ghee, keep aside.
  5. this paste is used to bind the layers of rotis.
  6. Pinch off dough , make 3 large lemon size balls
  7. Roll each into thin rotis
  8. Place rotis on your work surface,
  9. Apply 1 teaspoon of the rice flour paste all over the roti.
  10. Place another tolled out roti over it.
  11. Again smear with a teaspoon of rice flour paste.
  12. Again repeat the process, by placing another roti over the second roti
  13. Smear with rice flour paste
  14. Now gently roll the pulled up rotis into a log.
  15. Cut into 1/2" circles
  16. With the help of the rolling pin roll out each of the thick circles into the thin rotis
  17. Heat oil for deep fryingin a heavy bottom vessel
  18. Once hot reduce the flame
