ABOUT Rabdi Jalibi Cake RECIPE

Rabdi Jalebi popular India sweet. The combination of two different sweets rabdi and Jalibi is very famous in Indian cuisine. The fusion of rabdi jilabi goes great with cake also.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida 125 gm
  2. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  3. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  4. Condensed Milk 200 gm
  5. Sunflower oil 3 tbs
  6. Water 125 ml
  7. Saffron color 1 tsp
  8. Saffron essence 1tsp
  9. Cardamom powder 1tsp
  10. For Rabdi
  11. Milk 500 ml
  12. Sugar 1 tbs
  13. Milk powder 3 tbs
  14. Ready-made jilabi 10 to 15
  15. Whipped cream 200 gm
  16. Chopped almond and pistachio 2 tbs
  17. Dry rose petals

Instructions

  1. Beat condense milk and oil together with beater.
  2. Sieve maida, baking powder and baking soda for 3 times.
  3. Add dry ingredients in to wet ingredients add color and essence and cardamom powder. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes
  4. Pour in dust and greased baking tin and bake in pre heated oven for 25 to 30 minutes
  5. Remove the cake cool it.
  6. Mix milk, saffron and milk powder and cook on slow flame till it get thick consistency and sugar and cook for more till sugar dissolve in milk.
  7. Divide the cake in 3 slices
  8. Soak some Jalibi piece in water.
  9. Take one slices of cake soak with above jalibi water, then apply rabdi.
  10. Now apply fresh cream and some pieces of Jalibi
  11. Now put next slice and repeat the above method. Cover the cake with whipped cream make topping with nozzle and put Jalibi slices for decoration. Pour the rabdi in the center part.
  12. Decorate with chopped almond, pistachio and dry rose petals.
  13. Serve chilled
