Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked rice. 2 cups
  2. Cashews. 10
  3. Ghee. 2 tsp
  4. Oil. 1 tbsp
  5. Cumin seeds. 1/2tsp
  6. For powder:
  7. Curry leaves. 1 cup
  8. Chana dal. 2 tsp
  9. Urad dal. 2 tsp
  10. Sesame seeds. 1 tsp
  11. Red chillies. 10
  12. Cumin seeds. 1/2tsp
  13. Oil. 2 drops

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with 2 drops of oil.
  2. Fry the Chana dal,urad dal,redchillies on medium flame till the Dals turn into golden brown and remove from heat.
  3. In the same pan Fry sesame seeds and cumin seeds for 1 min. Remove from flame.
  4. In the same pan add curry leaves and fry till the moisture evaporates (for 2-3min) from the leaves
  5. Now make a smooth powder
  6. Heat the pan along with ghee and oil.
  7. Add cumin seeds and fry for 1/2 min.
  8. Add cashews and fry,then add cooked rice,curry leaves powder and salt mix well
  9. Cook on medium heat for 8-10 min stirring between.
  10. Serve with pickle or papad
