ABOUT vegetable chop RECIPE

delicious vegetables stuffed within a coating of potatoes and coated with breadcrumbs makes it perfect for every party

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4medium sized potatoes
  2. 1 small cauliflower cut into small pieces
  3. cabbage shredded 1 cup
  4. 1 carrot finely chopped or u can grate it
  5. 1/2 beetroot grated
  6. beans finely chopped 1/2 cup
  7. onion 1 chopped
  8. ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  9. salt
  10. turmeric powder 1 tsp
  11. coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
  12. all purpose flour 2 tbsp
  13. breadcrumbs 2 cups
  14. chilli flakes 1 tsp
  15. chilli powder 1 tsp
  16. oil for frying

Instructions

  1. boil and mash potatoes..
  2. add salt and keep aside
  3. now heat a Kadhai and pour 2 tbsp oil
  4. add chopped onion and sauté till it changes colour
  5. add ginger garlic paste and sauté till oil separates
  6. add all the vegetables,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt and cook covered
  7. cook till all the vegetables are tender and well cooked
  8. add chopped coriander leaves and mix well
  9. stuffing is ready
  10. now make a smooth paste using all purpose flour and half cup water
  11. add chilli flakes to breadcrumbs and keep aside
  12. take a portion of potatoes and spread it on your palm
  13. stuff 1 tablespoon of the vegetable stuffing on it and seal it completely
  14. make all the chops ready
  15. dip it in the all purpose flour paste and roll on the breadcrumbs
  16. now deep fry until golden brown and crispy
  17. take them out on an absorbent paper
  18. serve hot with sauce or chutney
