A simple Indian desert that is so very yummy.
Soak the kesar strands in warm water .Boil the milk then add sugar and 1 1/2 tbsp of milkmaid.
Let it simmer on slow flame for about 10 mins.
In the meanwhile cut the sides of d bread slices and fry untill golden (shallow or deep fry its your wish , I shallow fried).
Switch off the flame of milk and add the soaked kesar and color.
Take a thaal or alluminium tray and pour a little of milk in it then arrange the bread slices.
Pour over the remaining milk on the bread slices.
Now cook this on medium high heat until a very little amount of milk remains.
Keep on turning the tray at regular intervals.
Now garnish with chopped nuts and the remaining milkmaid.
Refrigerate and serve cold.
